Can't wait for the next book, this one ended on a cliff hanger. This couple and theses characters are so well written they feel like friends and I want to spend more time with them Melanie is written as a very real woman with flaws and doubts.

This is the third in the Half Moon Hollow series and they just keep getting better. My sister and I share recommendations for authors to listen to on Audible, I recommended Molly Harper Southern Eclectic series and she got hooked and started the Half Moon Hollow series. Then she got me hooked on the series. The books pull you in and you want to listen straight through to the end but when you get to the end you want to start the next book to see what happens next. This is a series you don't want to put down. The narrator does a great job as well, the books wouldn't be the same with a different narrator. I recommend any of Molly Harper's work I have not found any of them disappointing. Her inclusion of true southern cultural behaviors makes the books all that more enjoyable for someone from the south as I recognize the colloquialism and behaviors from my own life experience and they ring true. You have to be from the south to write and depict it accurately; I have read several books written by authors who have never lived here and quickly recognize the fact they have limited experience with the life of a southern family. Molly Harper has never been false in her depictions of a southern family and the crazy interactions that occur on a daily basis.

The story was interesting but I had a hard time listeneing because of the voice actor, she read like she was reading a children's book at the library. Every time she read a line in which the male leads were referred to as "my boys" I was creeped out!! Her inflection in that phrase was like a grandmother talking about her grandsons. Least erotic erotic fiction ever.

Penny Reid is my favorite author, I love the richly developed characters and wonderful and unexpected stories. I listened to the rugby series due to her being one of the authors and I have to admit they did not disappoint. The Paring of Ms. Ried and LH Cosway is wonderful. I hope there are more books in the Rugby series coming soon. Thank you for introducing me to Rugby.. The actors for this series are spectacular especially the male, George Allen, I loved the accent and the enthusiasm for the material. Please continue to cast him as the male in the rugby series.

I wasn't sure I would like Sean Cassidy but he grew on me. I really enjoyed the Irish accents as well. Love anything by Penny Reid. She writes and develops wonderful characters.

I came late the Knitting in The City Books, I read all of them back to back and had to wait only a couple of weeks for Marriage of Inconvenience. So I feel I may have cheated a bit because I had no long wait between stories, but what a wonderful ending for this group (my so happy from the title). I found the knitting stories through the Winston Brothers Series and I love both equally or so I believed. I thought Cletus was my perfect male character until I read Dan the Security Man's story. He and Kat's story was so wonderfully romantic and hilarious, mainly due to Dan. Dan was such a rich and well developed character; maybe due to Mrs. Reid being able to ruminate on him throughout the other Knitting in the City stories. I also think Mrs. Reid 's change of writing style to tell Dan and Kat's story was perfect. The change added a great deal to my enjoyment of the book and made the smile on my face so much bigger. The story was well balanced with laugh out loud funny moments as well as great examples of "cry porn". The funny parts were much more numerous. This book included some suspense and intrigue also. And per usual for a Penny Reid novel, I came away with a little bit more knowledge on a couple of topics. In this book I learned a little something about the pharmaceutical industry and came away with some points to ponder regarding mental illness. I thank Penny for the thoughts on mental illness. Now my complaint (the sad): is this the end of the series?? All of the original group have paired off and have their HEA. We have seen a little peak of each couple's HEA as they were a part of the next novel in the series but was it enough? If I could ask Mrs. Reid for a favor it would be to write a story (even if it is just a short story or novella) that is set 15 or 20 years in the future that gives a nice glimpse of the life each couple has lived and how their marriage/relationship developed over the years. Some stories about their children, their home/household, and their careers. Who had children, how many and whose children have become close. Which husbands became close friends as the years passed. And most important how did the relationship of the ladies change and grow as they aged and distance separated them, did it end the Tuesday night tradition? Or did it make them find other ways to support and appreciate each other? How does the Tuesday night knitting group look years later and is the love and appreciation of the friendship still the same? I know Mrs. Reid has so many irons in the fire but I would love a HEA that wraps up the entire series. I also need to say that due to this series I have become a knitter, still early stages but I’m hooked. There are no groups or shops in my area so I am learning via videos and books but I am sticking with it, so thank you for the hobby. And thank you for the company, I lost my husband recently to pancreatic cancer and the ladies in the knitting group became friends when I needed them. So I appreciated their company more than I can say, thank you so much. Thank you for such well developed and engaging characters, I love them all.

Could find no fault with this book, the performers or the story. Really enjoyed this one. Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward have been added to my list of favorite authors. I enjoyed "Dear Bridget" and decided to chose another book by these authors, I now know they can do no wrong by me.

The story was a pleasure but was often bogged down in a lot of irrelevant chatter. The author's editor should encourage more focus on the story and less on simply adding just to add. .There were several passages that pertained to nothing and added nothing to the story., remember just because you can write does not mean it should be included. I would have given 5 stars if the book were edited a bit more..

I "read" the stories for the happily ever after endings. An escape from the unhappiness of reality and I feel I have been mislead and promised something that was never delivered. Why lead the audience on and then in the last chapter end the relationship of the two main characters, if I wanted tragedy I would read Shakespeare. These novels are escapes. If the author needs advice or an editor more in tune with the target audience please let me know as I am a retired English teacher and feel I would do a better job than the current editor....at least I couldn't be any worse. Please let me know should there be another Miss Fortune novel that has an ending the audience might enjoy.
