Kind of a letdown

Really started to dislike these characters as this book went on. Not much explained with how people became powerful or the ancestry of it all. The relentless violence got to be too much and honestly hit a saturation point for me, became boring. Kind of just melded into a big malaise for me.

Essentially a Radio Play....a bit corny at times

Some actors were great, however some were just annoying and I found the sound effects and music drowned out the story at points. Wish that stupid "The Sandman" intro wasn't at every chapter. Pretty meh imo.

Majorly disappointed that the Narrator is different, didn't even reference other books for voices/accents/pronunciation.
