# Narration Performance
The audio book narrator was terrible.
- The audience for this book is highly technical and lives in a world of tech jargon. This narrator clearly is not familiar with the terms and did not research/prepare for saying them.
- Lacked proper breath control (taking a breath mid-phrase)
- Emphasized the wrong syllable of a word and wrong word of a phrase
- Was mostly cold and technical, with annoyingly excessive diction (overly enunciating Ts and Ds, etc. ) to the point of being staccato, which was a CONSTANT distraction from the story

The person who hired her and the Director are equally to blame.

# Story
I read The Phoenix Project by the same authors. This read more like a screenplay than a novel. And somehow at the same time giving unnecessary detail and spending way too much time on minutia that does nothing to futher the plot nor teach the lessons that are the assumed purpose of this book.
Needed more/better editing.

# Overall
I'd recommend reading a hard copy instead of the audio version.
With it's flaws, it still provides helpful insights into organizing teams and executing technical processes and projects with efficiency and efficacy.
If you're not in a position to make these changes yourself, it gives you some smart-sounding ideas to discuss with your management - and that alone makes this book more than worthwhile.

From the very first note, the chimes are WAY too loud and fast for something to fall asleep to.
It actually wakes me up.
The chimes should be a soft, rolling background noise with gradual changes, not prominant punctuation marks that grab your attention.
Her speech is also always too fast. I have to play it at .75 speed.

The title should be "everything you need to know to start investing in real estate". It reads more like a Real Estate for Dummies, explaining terms, basic calculations, resources, and strategies. A fantastic primer for the new investor.

I listened to the audio book twice while driving, but kept wanting to stop and take notes.

Where Kiyosaki gives you the mental shift to want to invest in real estate, Anson Young walks you through how to actually DO IT.

How could the performance have been better?

The content is fantastic. 10 stars. Which makes the audio all the more unbearable. The reader drones on, misses key punctuation, does not enunciate, and in no way conveys the import of the words he reads.
The words require thought and reflection, but the pace of the reading leaves barely enough time for basic comprehension.
There is also an early chapter that has more than a dozen editing errors where whole passages of text cut out mid-word. I thought at first it was a data streaming issue, but i played it several times and the skips happened at the exact same words every time.

Buy the book and read it, but don't waste your time with this audio-book.
