Historia
In the unforgiving Montana wilderness, love is the only currency that matters. Henry Mercer thought he knew everything about survival—until Sarah Thompson rode into his life. With his family's ranch teetering on the edge of ruin and a generations-old land dispute threatening everything he holds dear, Henry must choose between tradition and innovation, revenge and reconciliation. Sarah Thompson left the comfort of Boston for the untamed frontier, never expecting to find a home—or a love—that would change everything. The story was almost boring and over descriptive
Revisado: 02-14-25
I don’t like virtual readers. The emphasis and cadence of sentences is off putting. I’ll try not to do it again

All the voices!
Revisado: 11-13-24
The accents and voices were so amazing and fun to listen to. Better than any dramatization.

Historia
At one time, Corrie ten Boom would have laughed at the idea that she had a story to tell. For the first 50 years of her life, nothing out of the ordinary ever happened to her. She was a spinster watchmaker living contentedly with her sister and their elderly father in the tiny house over their shop in Haarlem. Their uneventful days, as regulated as their own watches, revolved around their abiding love for one another. But with the Nazi invasion and occupation of Holland, everything changed....

Corrie lived her religion amid the worst conditions.
Revisado: 04-12-24
I loved the honesty of the struggle to live her Christian beliefs in the terrible conditions of the prison camp. What a beautiful example of pure discipleship in her family.

Riveting story

Richard Armitage reads a brutal and compelling story that makes war time Venice all too real. The characters are complex and alive.

Weird accent
Revisado: 02-27-23
The narrator had a very weird cadence and it was hard to listen to. She emphasized the wrong words and her voice rose and fell in an artificial way. She didn’t seem to enjoy the story at all.
