Many self-help books offer a lot of new age platitudes and sappy mantras: Just love yourself. See the glass as half full. Believe it and it will come. Really? That’s not how it works, and you know it.

Stick to the Weight Loss!
Revisado: 03-21-14
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Michaels is good at what she does, and of course she does motivate people to lose weight very well. When it comes to a deeper level of motivation, she falls short. I was unable to finish the listen.

Historia
The Web is a powerful “money button” that can connect you with vast networks of customers, solidify your business image, and create continual growth. The key is in knowing how to install that button effectively. In an era of blogging, social networking, message boards, and web sites for every subject under the sun, it’s difficult to figure out which Internet tools are the ones that will make your virtual register go “KaChing!”

tell me something new!

What did you like best about KaChing? What did you like least?
I was disappointed in the level of information provided. There are many books available that address business online. I you are just starting out, this may be a good place to start, but for anyone who's been out there for a while, looking for something non-technical, this was a let down.

Historia
Think and Grow Rich is the number-one inspirational and motivational classic for individuals who are interested in furthering their lives and reaching their goals by learning from important figures in history. The text read in this audiobook is the original 1937 edition written by Napoleon Hill and inspired by Andrew Carnegie - and while it has often been reproduced, no updated version has ever been able to compete with the original.

It's not about the $$
Revisado: 09-06-12
What made the experience of listening to Think and Grow Rich the most enjoyable?
Most people expect a formula for monetary wealth in this timeless classic--and it is there--but it's really not about the money. It's about the power of your mind and how to use it.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
This is a book that you can read/ listen to multiple times and you will hear different things according to where you are in your personal evolution. I wouldn't be without it.

Historia
The 4 Hour Work Week explains what a lifestyle entrepreneur is and why you should want to become one. It teaches you how to "kill" your job and design a life, the 80/20 rule and how it increases productivity, how to replace your dreams with goals, and more. Listeners can lead a rich life by working only four hours a week, freeing up the rest of their time to spend it living the lives they want.

not for everyone, fantastic for the few
Revisado: 09-06-12
Would you listen to The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich again? Why?
the world needs people who can think outside the box and actually make it work. --that may disturb conventional thinkers and business people and create a bit of envy. I don't agree with all of Ferriss' methods or solutions, (i.e. outsourcing is not the answer to everything) and I can see 4 hrs/ day more likely and workable way to apply profitably.
What could Timothy Ferriss have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
I would have to agree with the other reviewers regarding having the book, I have both, and it's a more useful tool if you are going to seriously use the techniques.

Historia
The Hidden Messages in Water is an eye-opening theory about how water is deeply connected to people's individual and collective consciousness. Drawing from his own discoveries, scientific researcher, healer, and popular lecturer Dr. Masaru Emoto describes the ability of water to absorb, hold, and even retransmit human feelings and emotions. Using high-speed photography, he found that crystals formed in ice reveal changes when specific, concentrated thoughts are directed toward it.

Hidden Messages in Water
Revisado: 09-06-12
What made the experience of listening to The Hidden Messages in Water the most enjoyable?
I was familiar w/ Emoto's work but listening to his findings permeated --like water! The profound effect it has on our bodies and our lives is tremendous. The greater my awareness of it's effects, the more far-reaching.
If you’ve listened to books by Masaru Emoto before, how does this one compare?
I've only read Emoto's other books but I look forward to listening to more.
