Historia
Already cited on the floor of Congress and discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a book all Americans should read, One Second After is the story of a war scenario that could become all too terrifyingly real. Based upon a real weapon - the Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) - which may already be in the hands of our enemies, it is a truly realistic look at the awesome power of a weapon that can destroy the entire United States.

Slow start but gets better
Revisado: 08-22-22
I read this because it kept popping up on survivalist fiction list. It starts off very slowly and a bit monotonous I had to start and stop multiple times to get through the book. There were some scenes that legit made me cry but that I felt were mostly realistic. I would hope that if we as Americans were placed in this situation we would react better. However I doubt it because I also went to an Amazon discount store and ppl mostly men tbh lost all manners while looking for an IPad 🙄.

The Heroine….smh if Denial was horse she’d ride
Revisado: 11-18-21
Sky is alright at times but her determination to be in the mix of everything is highly annoying. She continues to be in denial of everything and breaking down at every turn. She keeps saying she is strong and maybe in a normal situation she would be. All the crying and being in denial and panic attacks that she acts like are no big deal are annoying. It probably wouldn’t be so bad if she wasn’t also saying how strong she is and that she can handle things just fine at the same time.
