I loved the format seeing the story from so many viewpoints. I loved the time period and the location in Atlantic City. I have so many relatives that grew up then and there

The story was implausible and so it relied on ridiculous gratuitous sex that was straight up porn. Horrible book

Narration poor
Revisado: 01-15-23
I wish this beautiful story had been read by other narrators. The slow lilting over emphasis on each word was not only ineffective but left the book without emotion, joy or the feelings of gravitas this story deserved. It’s well worth reading and well written but the narration spoiled the authentic drama of such an important time in the history of these two countries
