First book by Kayley Loring I don’t enjoy. Characters were annoying and boring. Also way too young. Unless you’re 14 years old no one wants to read romance between people in their 20’s. Loring’s forté is comedy and her incredible sense of humor. But this book offered nothing of the sort.

Love A.Jimenez but this is awful

I’ve listened to and love all of Abby Jimenez books but this was a total drag. Finishing it was like pulling teeth without anesthesia. Very, very little of the usual fun, quick witted banter. Just a long and boring story. None of the characters had any appeal. Just a bunch of self-pitying egocentric people. Also, Zachary Webber used to be my favorite narrator by far. But his performance was awful. Not sure if he, too, hated the story/characters or is just not into narrating anymore. Hope the next book by Abby makes up for this terrible book.

Love Cara Bastone’s work but this might be her best so far. And the narrators were excellent! Can’t wait for her next Audible!

Never disappoints!

I love all of Cara Bastone’s work. Her sense of humor is always just perfect and combined with the sensibility of this story it made a wonderful read. The main character was a bit too self-centered, though. The narrator was one of the best I’ve ever listened to!

Great, fun romcom! It delivers exactly what romcom fans look for in audiobooks. It would be even better if there were chapters with the moms. Hope to see more of stories like this.

Fun and original book

I just love the way this story is told. A lot of fun with the intertwining of the characters. Love that the Rooster has a voice too! Kayley Loring is so talented that I think all the excessive mentions to genitalia and masturbation are completely unnecessary and unlikely to be what the readers/listeners are looking for. All narrators were amazing!

Can’t get enough of Liz Talley!

So happy to find more of Cricket’s and Ruby’s adventures in audiobook! The story is an amazing combination of comedy, romance, and thriller. The narration is absolutely perfect. I particularly love Cricket’s mom’s and the old lady’s with the lost dog parts. I can’t wait to the next Cricket book. I hope this becomes a long lasting series.

Good but could be better

Good, entertaining story. I enjoy all of Kayley Loring’s books, especially when narrated by Zachary Webber. But I always think there are too many sex references. I think what most readers enjoy about rom com is the witty banter and comic situations, and not the sex or constant references to genitals.

This could have been a great audiobook but the female lead was insufferable. Not only the character was incredibly annoying and toxic, the narrator sounded like a much older person. The rest of the characters were a lot of fun! I loved Funny Business and cabe wait to now read Miles’ story and Mina’s too.

Disappointing

This doesn’t even seem like it was written by Emily Henry. All characters are uninspiring, annoying. They can’t even stand themselves. And the ode to weed is ridiculous and make they look unintelligent, cliché, old losers. I absolutely loved all of her other books. Hope Emily Henry makes up for this waste of time and audiobook credit. Not even Julia Whelan could save this drag.
