Historia
It's 2535. It is the first, desperate days of the Human-Covenant War, and the United Nations Space Command has enacted “the Cole Protocol” to safeguard Earth and its inner colonies from discovery by its merciless alien foe. Many are called upon to rid the galaxy of lingering navigation data that could potentially reveal the location of Earth and ensure the destruction of humanity.

One of the biggest must read/listen out of all Halo books
Revisado: 01-06-24
So many things to enjoy about this story. Don’t listen to people who say that the fight music moments are terrible, they work just fine. Things like Grey Team, Keyes, Thel, and ONI get plenty of attention and time to flesh them out.

Loyalty is its own reward
Revisado: 05-04-23
Definite must listen for any follower of the 1st Legion. As a DA fan and player this story is about as perfect as I could wish for. The Risen have become some of my favorite characters (I may have to take some of my 30k models to represent them), and the Lion himself gets some amazing character development.

As the Great Crusade enters its sixth decade, the fleets and armies of the Emperor spear out into the galaxy to bring the Imperial Truth to thousands of worlds. Expansion has been swift, but must now be tempered with consolidation. Even so, the Emperor demands that the boundaries of the Imperium be pushed further into the unknown. The Master of Mankind tasks four primarchs with the dangerous mission of securing the worlds of the Occluda Noctis—hundreds of star systems on the far side of the Northern Major Warp Storm.

Solid book for Dorn
Revisado: 01-31-23
While this book doesn’t go too deeply into Dorn’s character, it doesn’t misrepresent him either.
As a Dark Angels player I enjoyed the scenes with the Lion and his sons in the early part of the book.
Of course the rest of the book was never unengaging, which is a factor that I always see whenever Dorn is involved.

Historia
The Great Crusade is ending. The Emperor has returned to Terra, while Horus remains among the stars to complete the unification of humanity. As the Imperial armies fight the final battles of the age, Remembrancer Solomon Voss seeks the answer to one question—why does Sigismund, First Captain of the Imperial Fists and greatest champion of the Legions, believe that war will not end? Granted a rare audience with the master of the Templars, the answer takes Voss on a revelatory journey to a time before Sigismund became a Space Marine.

I would consider this a must read/listen for any Black Templar/Imperial Fist fan. Love how it shows his lethality and mindset even at a young age.
Now I would love to see similar stories like this for characters like Corswain, Sevatar, and Ralderon.

Fell times have come to the galaxy. Cadia has fallen, destroyed by the onslaught of Chaos. A Great Rift in the warp has opened, and from its depths spew daemons and the horrors of Old Night. But all hope is not lost… A hero, long absent, has returned, and with him comes the wrath of the Ultramarines reborn. Roboute Guilliman has arisen to lead the Imperium out of darkness on a crusade the likes of which has not been seen since the fabled days of the Emperor. One of the best Primarch books there is. Really shows how even more in the beginning White Scars prefered to be loners of a kind.

Revisado: 03-28-22
10/10 would rate this as good as the Gaunts Ghosts series. I’m not even sure what to say about this story other than it does all the justice and more for the Kriegsman. Love how eveyone outside of their regiments feel uneasy about them.

Historia
Before the being called the Emperor revealed himself, before the rise of the aeldari, before the necrontyr traded their flesh for immortal metal, the world was born in violence. Even when they inhabited bodies of flesh, Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner were polar opposites. Trazyn, a collector of historical oddities, presides over a gallery full of the most dangerous artefacts - and people - of the galactic past. Orikan, a chronomancer without peer, draws zodiacs that predict and manipulate the future.

I was recommended this book by a friend who plays Necrons. Definitely worth the listen (especially if you want to see two powerful Necrons trolling each other). Trazyn is the best in this story (Orikan is also great but Trazyn grabbed my attention more).
