This was a good story that was very well done by the narrator. A little easy to guess the outcome but an enjoyable read.

I don’t read fiction books to get an authors opinion about the political landscape- why does everyone with a platform somehow believe what they have to say - not enlightening or fresh - is what the public needs to hear! Just another opinion

This was a disturbing story that highlights the worst of the human race. It was also unnecessarily graphic.

I enjoyed the overall story, but found it difficult to identify the plot for much of the book. There were also a lot of inconsequential characters' introduced making the story line hard to follow.

This was a good story, but was slow after the opening story-line. While the end was somewhat of a twist, it wasn't enough of one to keep me interested. The performance was great but the book was a little slow.

Innocent until proven guilty???
Revisado: 09-25-17
What made the experience of listening to Do You Solemnly Swear? the most enjoyable?
The story telling style was a bit fragmented with the constant off-shoots from one topic to the next, and the building of characters' was also fragmented, which was a bit confusing at times.
What other book might you compare Do You Solemnly Swear? to and why?
A Time to Kill, the court scenes in this book were reminiscent of those in John Grishams' masterpiece.
Which character – as performed by Mark Kamish – was your favorite?
It was difficult to get comfortable with any one character due to the character builds, but in the end Gabe McAllister was my favorite character
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The cross examination of Annie

A Sci Fi Thriller
Revisado: 09-25-17
Would you try another book from David Wood and Alan Baxter and/or Jeffrey Kafer?
This story wasn't what I expected and is a little left of the genre I prefer. The narration of the story was fine, but I don't typically listen to science fiction and I would definitely classify this book as that.
Would you recommend Primordial to your friends? Why or why not?
I would recommend the book to people who like this genre yes. The story is good, just not my king of book.
What about Jeffrey Kafer’s performance did you like?
Jeffrey Kafer's performance of the book was spot on, so I would listen to books narrated by him in the future.

Psychological thriller
Revisado: 09-08-17
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Yes, I enjoyed the overall story, but much of the book is spent in the head of Elle and in my opinion too much time. A lot of the in her head conversations were meaningless and became too much at times
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The overall story and the mystery
Would you listen to another book narrated by Karen Rose Richter?
The narrator did a good job and I had a mental image of the scenes for much of the book. I would listen to another book narrated by Richter.
Was Child's Play: The Elle Harrison Series worth the listening time?
I did enjoy the book and it was a quick listen, but too much time is spent with the internal struggle in Elle's head so it's unlikely I will listen to any more books in this series.
