This book is probably one of the best to not only explain the epic story of the Emerald Mile but to capture what it’s truly like to raft the Colorado through the Grand Canyon. If you ever get the chance to do a River trip do it, it will change you.

This book was a wonderful read and a wonderful listen. If you can get the audible and hard copy of the book. You can listen to Ash on audible and see all the great photos in the hard copy. This book really helped me look at my marriage in a different way and cherish my husband even during the hard messy parts…even more during those times. Thanks Ash and Dino for this wonderful treasure!!

Would you try another book from Beverly Cleary and Tracy Dockray and/or Neil Patrick Harris and William Roberts ?
Yes! It says something that Beverly Cleary books are still being read today. The books written in the 50s and 60s are still relevant today and teach meaningful lessons to our kids. The children in her stories are very respectful to their parents, elders, friends, and neighbors. Her life lessons are woven into wonderful chapters that kids gobble up!
Would you ever listen to anything by Beverly Cleary and Tracy Dockray again?
Yes! I love her and so do my kids!
