Historia
The world will end on Saturday. Next Saturday. Just before dinner, according to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655. The armies of Good and Evil are amassing and everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except that a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture. And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist.

I was disappointed with this book. I couldn’t get into it, which I was surprised with the amount of people that reviewed it. The book was slow and I found my mind kept wondering away from the book.

Disappointment
Revisado: 11-13-18
I have listened too all of the Jack Reacher books. I have really enjoyed them, to the point of reading them multiply times. Scott Brick does a great job and is one of my favorite narrators but I am disappointed that Dick Hill didn't do this one. Also, I think that the story line was a little weak and slow going, as it felt like a good chunk of the book didn't even include Reacher.
Waiting for next year...

Any additional comments?
I bought this book because I was really interested in listening to A Time To Kill. I like most of his books. A Time to Kill was great. A King of Torts not so much. So I guess you win some and lose some.

Historia
It’s 1996, and Reacher is still in the army. In the morning they give him a medal, and in the afternoon they send him back to school. That night he’s off the grid. Out of sight, out of mind. Two other men are in the classroom—an FBI agent and a CIA analyst. Each is a first-rate operator, each is fresh off a big win, and each is wondering what the hell they are doing there. Then they find out: A Jihadist sleeper cell in Hamburg, Germany, has received an unexpected visitor—a Saudi courier, seeking safe haven while waiting to rendezvous with persons unknown.

Awesome Book!!! Bring on the next Lee Child
Revisado: 02-15-17
What made the experience of listening to Night School the most enjoyable?
I have read / listen to all of the Jack Reacher series a few of them more than once. I typically don't write a review as I finish about 9-10 books a month and it just seems redundant, however finishing the series or at least catching up I thought what the heck.
The Jack Reacher books that take place back in time when he was still in service aren't usually my favorite. This book started kind of slow however picked up very well. I really enjoyed this entire novel. I truly enjoy finding out more about each character and if you have listened to all them you see some of the same people come back over and over again.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
This novel incorporated several different factors and without ruining the ending I didn't have it predicted half way through like some other novels.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
If I had enough time I would have listened to this in one sitting. As with all of the other Jack Reacher novel Dick Hill did an outstanding job and no homo I would be willing to listen to him read the most mundane instruction. Dick Hill does an outstanding job with the novel and ranks up their to me with George Guidall and Scott Brick.

Left Behind was a great start to the series
Revisado: 02-12-16
Where does Left Behind rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The Left Behind was a solid audiobook. One down side that I didn't so much care for was the delay between chapters and when the narrator stopped and started the speaking. I did find the plot interesting and finished the book in just a couple of days. I look forward to starting the next book in the series.

Historia
Narrator Dan Stevens ( Downton Abbey) presents an uncanny performance of Mary Shelley's timeless gothic novel, an epic battle between man and monster at its greatest literary pitch. In trying to create life, the young student Victor Frankenstein unleashes forces beyond his control, setting into motion a long and tragic chain of events that brings Victor to the very brink of madness. How he tries to destroy his creation, as it destroys everything Victor loves, is a powerful story of love, friendship, scientific hubris, and horror.

This book is not what I expected or hoped. It is a classic but incredibly slow and the narrator puts me to sleep. Don't listen too if your driving.
