Is The Strange Case bad? No it's quite good my main problem with it is that its based on Dr Jekyl and and Mr Hyde. I don't think this story needed to be tided to an older story that I think is better but this story was able to stand on its own with out the drawing of the comparisons to the original. Was it worth listening to yes. do I wish it had just done its own thing yes.

Would you try another book from Ernest Cline and/or Wil Wheaton?
probably not it's just 80's crap for fifteen hours not enjoyable. the author wants to be back in the 80s and will go on endlessly about all the greatness of the 80's just terrible. so unless you love the 80's I mean really love the 80's don't bother.
Has Ready Player One turned you off from other books in this genre?
no I like sci-fi and heard this was good but it's blahh at best and has no depth to speak of.

alright I guess. he does an ok job I'd be ok with him reading other books.

all of them this was terrible.

DON'T GET THIS BOOK unless you want fantasize about the 80's for 15 hours if that's your thing then go for it.
