Very good. Listen to it often.
Revisado: 04-22-19
This book has helped. I've picked it up and listened to parts over and over again. I've also taken the time to listen to it all the way through over the past 2 years. practicing one thing out of the many ideas is helpful for me. Difficult to stick to one or two, but helpful. I get to hear different insight as time goes by and that's great because it shows me I'm getting better. This book feels kinder as time goes by. Get it.

Everyone thrives on love, comfort, and the safety of family, friends, and community. But if you are denied these basic comforts early in life through a lack of physical affection or emotional bonding, you may develop intense fears of abandonment that can last well into adulthood - fears so powerful that they can actually cause you to push people away. If you suffer from fears of abandonment, you may have underlying feelings of anger, shame, fear, anxiety, depression, and grief.

Great thoughts. Missing concrete steps.
Revisado: 04-01-18
if you are into the thoughts the author shares in this book, you will like the other more. Braving the Wilderness requires practice, and the author would have done well by adding extremely specific steps on what to do, how to start, and what to expect as you learn each day and get stronger. especially when at some point it will get harder to stay on the journey.

Historia
Perfectionism is a naturally limiting mindset. For example, kids are taught to color inside the lines, and any color outside the lines is considered a mistake that must be corrected. Imperfectionism frees us to live outside the lines, where possibilities are infinite, mistakes are allowed, and self-judgment is minimal.

Thoughtful and effective
Revisado: 12-21-17
I recently thought to myself, I don't want to keep reading books, watching videos, or going to seminars around learning how to overcome a perfectionist mindset. I feel like this is the last book I read on this topic. This is a low barrier of entry exercise focusing on practicing. What's in here is the only thing I really need to do. Sure I may read or do other things to add slightly different perspectives, however I do not need to search for a Magic Bullet anymore.
