It was horrible. Couldn't get past first chapter. Didn't grab my attention at all. Horrible.

Have you listened to any of Ann Marie Lee and Lincoln Hoppe ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I'm not sure however it was a great mix. I wasn't sure about multiple narrators before but I really enjoy them now.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Cry for sure. The serious nature of child abduction and this story of how children can be broken and brainwashed. It was a great book. It will make you more aware of the things in your life you thought were safe.

A serious book but I love the twist and turns of it. I enjoy all of her books as they are very well written and researched. A great listen.

I couldn't tell you I was so overwhelmed and shocked by what I was hearing I don't think I made a distinction about her.

The description for this book leads you to believe its just another romance book. It does not indicate the sexual nature. I think there should have been a warning about the type of material that was in this book.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

A better story as well as the accents. I couldn't get into the story at all and I love Nora Roberts.

What could Nora Roberts have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I have no clue. Maybe this was written on a bad day or just the narrator

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The simpleton Louisiana accents. It made me think of a civil war plantation house. Ugh

Have no idea I stopped half way through

It was cheap, it's the only reason I got it but I have never stopped listening to a book before. I just couldn't take it. The accents were killing me

What made the experience of listening to The Neighbor the most enjoyable?

I really enjoyed all of the "who did its" ....you never knew what part each person played until the end. The narration was great. If you enjoy suspenseful , plot thickening books you will love this. Those who wrote about the wife's infidelity and so forth. This is fiction...if you want predictable happy tales listen to a regency romance. Hey it's nothing you haven't heard about on NCIS or Law and Order before, or the news for that matter.

Great book, I really enjoyed it...now I'm downloading the next one in the series. I started at the first one and I'm just going down the list. Can't wait to listen to the next one!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Neighbor?

The ending. How all of the peices of the puzzle came together

I wasn't sure about 3 narrators at first, but they really helped you relate and follow who was speaking.

I was wanting to fast forward to the end so I could see who did what, I was so into it!

This narrator was the best! The book made me feel for the characters and I even found myself laughing out loud, and then crying buckets of tears!! Very good story! Well worth your listen!
