A very good followup to an excellent Book one. A little too much time spent on the "relationship", but everytime they returned to the save the world mission it again became a very engaging, enthralling read. I enjoyed the book very much!

Juju is an expertly crafted character and impeccably voiced. The pace of the story is very good, and very believable. I was easily drawn in and kept captivated as the crime and aftermath unfolded, leading to a very satifying conclusion. Highly recommended!

Carl's story continues, and it is still outstanding! Donut and Carl are perfect sides of a coin, so different, but impossible to separate. The characters are richly developed, action is engaging, and the story is enthralling. I will continue to look forward to the next book in this series.

Couldn't help but thinking this was Joe Bishop on loan as a wizard. Not a bad thing, I like Joe Bishop a lot. Story is very entertaining. Characters are richly developed and you really care about them, even Duke the dog. Looking to more.
