Historia
1941. Audrey Coltrane has always wanted to fly. It's why she implored her father to teach her at the little airfield back home in Texas. It’s why she signed up to train military pilots in Hawaii when the war in Europe began. And it’s why she insists she is not interested in any dream-derailing romantic involvements, even with the disarming Lieutenant James Hart, who fast becomes a friend as treasured as the women with whom she flies. Then one fateful day, she gets caught in the air over Pearl Harbor just as the bombs begin to fall, and suddenly, nowhere feels safe.

History of Woman fliers especially during Wartime
Revisado: 04-10-25
Wonderfully told story of the brave women who ferried planes during World War II and then before the end of the war, where ceremoniously told we don’t need you anymore they had to go back to just doing women’s work according to some men, so it was a really good story of these brave young women

Women serving during world war one
Revisado: 03-03-25
As we retired women’s army core veteran who served during the Vietnam war, I love reading stories of the women who pay the way for us. This truly shows how women served on the front lines or near the front lines rather during World War I. It is a really good historical romance story.

Great Series of Oregon Trail Romance and Hope.
Revisado: 04-06-21
Great beginning of a 6 book series. Really glad they are b beginning to come to Audible. Stepping out on faith is a great way of living. These women tend to be so different yet they are also so alike in their walking across the United States to Oregon.

Miriam steps off the train looking for a job, not a husband. She refuses to be wed, and Gideon is unspeakably embarrassed by the misunderstanding. Stranded in Savage Wells, Miriam has nowhere else to go - and a secret that she's determined to keep from everyone. She has epilepsy, a condition that other doctors had claimed was symptomatic of madness, a diagnosis which prompted her family to have her committed to an asylum. Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

I watch Trevor each day he is on. I love his comedian outlook. I was really surprised at learning his background in Africa. He had had a very interesting life. He has truly overcome much in his life.
