Historia
When H. G. Wells first published The War of The Worlds in 1898, the novel quickly became a sci-fi classic. The story of extraterrestrials from Mars invading Earth captured the public’s imagination, inspiring a famed 1938 radio broadcast with Orson Welles, several feature films, countless video games, and a best-selling musical concept album by Jeff Wayne in 1978, among others.

low quality production, voice acting and story.

Whole audio drama felt very low budget. The story was pretty boring. Some generic devorced couple waiting for their daughter to give birth and fighting. Felt like the story didn't really go anywhere.

Historia
Does nature really make us feel better? The 3-Day Effect takes a look at the science behind why being in the wild can make us happier, healthier, and more creative. Whether it’s rafting down Utah’s Green River, hiking in Utah’s wilderness, or walking through Rock Creek Park in Washington, DC, scientists are finding that the more exposure humans have to nature, the more we can benefit from reduced anxiety, enhanced creativity, and overall well-being.

Podcast that should have been 1hr long at most
Revisado: 07-19-19
I was hoping for maybe bit more empirical srudies or experts than a journalist following groups of women or veterans that try the 3 days in nature thing. I'm tired of these type of podcasts that have a simple interesting premise but are made so long winded I get bored even before I'm half way through it. thank god for the 3x speed option. wayyy too long winded for what it is. noy every podcast needs to be npr style drama where you have miltiple anecdotal interviews. sometimes podcasts should just be on point

Historia
In Everthing Is F*cked, Mark Manson turns his gaze from the inevitable flaws within each individual self to the endless calamities taking place in the world around us. Drawing from the pool of psychological research on these topics, as well as the timeless wisdom of philosophers such as Plato, Nietzsche, and Tom Waits, he dissects religion and politics and the uncomfortable ways they have come to resemble one another. He looks at our relationships with money, entertainment, and the internet, and how too much of a good thing can psychologically eat us alive.

Flawed but okay
Revisado: 06-14-19
flawed but not awful self-help book about hope. Bit bizzare that the last chapter was alot about Elon Musks scary AI scenario like its a given. Obviously its a self-help book and therefor not some rigorous psychology/philosophy book so dont take the ideas as fact even though there might be some good things in the book to use in your own personal life and world view
Over all he is a good entertaining writer with interesting stories and anecdotes. Its same quality that the previous book was. I liked the Art of not giving a fuck little bit more but overall same quality I'd say. Do if you loved that one you propably like this one.
