The narrator was not the best. She made it sound childish. I don’t like criticizing, but I only finished because I had already paid for it.

The worst book I’ve ever listened to. What a stupid woman.
Revisado: 11-04-24
Why the hell would a woman kill herself and leave her much wanted and loved baby just to keep her husband from killing her? Dumb. She had all the evidence to have him imprisoned for previous murders. Dumbest plot and a waste of my time.

Historia
UrbanMyth: It was lauded as an alternative to the performative, show-your-best-self platforms—an anonymous discussion board grouped by zip code. The residents of Manhattan’s exclusive Upper East Side disclosed it all, things they would never share with their friends or their spouses: secret bank accounts, steamy affairs, tidbits of juicy gossip. So when a “hacktivist” group breaks into the forum and exposes the real identity of each poster, the repercussions echo down Park Avenue with a force that none could have anticipated.

Thank you!!
Revisado: 09-28-23
Just let me add my warm appreciation, Cassidy. Hope you’re doing well. Well written from a well spoken young woman. The only advice I have for Cassidy, from an older woman, is, you can’t control everything! You took way too much care of these people!! Turn that care to yourself now, which I believe you are. Love on George, he won’t do you badly! I think you have learned a bunch. Good luck and I hope to hear what’s next for you!

A year has passed since LAPD detective Renée Ballard quit the force in the face of misogyny, demoralization, and endless red tape. Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Make a playlist, please!
Revisado: 01-14-23
I love this book and Harry and Meghan! I’m kind of sorry for what they’ve been through, but look where they have ended up. Harry escaped the cult of the monarchy. That only happened because of his strength to be true to himself and his feelings, and his love for Meghan. All the negative shit they have received since leaving the “family” just magnifies what he has revealed: brutal bullying. I’m so happy for them. What I would love is a playlist of their music. It feels like they enjoy some beautiful sounds and music is part of their story. I’m wondering if they have or will have a podcast or YouTube channel. I know that opens them up to more blasting from trolls looking to harm them or profit off them! Stay happy you two! Thanks for sharing your story!

Historia
The Lovelorn Killer murdered seven women, ritually binding them and leaving them for dead before penning them gruesome love letters in the local papers. Then he disappeared, and after 20 years with no trace of him, many believe that he's gone for good. Not Grace Harper. A grocery store manager by day, at night Grace uses her snooping skills as part of an amateur sleuth group. She believes the Lovelorn Killer is still living in the same neighborhoods that he hunted in, and if she can figure out how he selected his victims, she will have the key to his identity.

Revisado: 08-16-21
Great who dunnit. I’m into strong women protagonists. The narrator was a little off-putting at first, drawing words out at the end like she’s bored, but the book is great and the narrator seems to relax as the story goes on. I’m reading this book for the second time and hardly notice what bothered me the first time.

Thank?
Revisado: 10-31-20
Overall a good story. The narrator was not so great. Monotone reading at times, not putting emphasis where needed and the way he said “thank” drove me nuts. I guess it’s a soft “th”. and noticeable because he said it at least 100 times.

Historia
Why are we the way we are? Who can we become? What stands in our way? In Dealing with the Devil, Tony Schwartz investigates these sweeping questions by fiercely reckoning with his own life choices, regrets, and aspirations. He confronts the shame that arose after he helped craft a persona for Donald Trump in The Art of the Deal that 30 years later aided in his election as president. He provides a window into understanding our complicated relationship with Trump, and the Trump in each of us.

Loved this recording. Still voting for Trump.
Revisado: 10-17-20
I appreciated every word, Tony. I’m about your age. A grandma and relate greatly to your words about still growing. Politics have become very confusing. Trump is a bad person, which you articulately pointed out. Biden has played both sides of a lot of issues. He used to be a racist. That’s documented. What I’m voting for is the right to bear arms, freedom of speech, against open borders, etc. I call myself middle of the road in politics, I can see both sides on a lot of issues. You’re a good person who made a deal with the devil and you’re trying to pay penance. I’ve made huge mistakes, probably worse in my personal life. I wish I was paid as handsomely from and still receiving royalties from my mistake. Again, loved every word of this recording.
