An Old Favorite, Excellently Done

I first read this book literally decades ago, and coming back to the story again reminded me of why I was so moved by it.
Catastrophic disease now is even more plausible, and yet humankind has not changed. This book is very relevant to our time and worth the credit.

Early Pratchett, Finding his Character

This is an early one of Pratchett's Discworld novels, and it seems that he hasn't yet hit his stride with the characters. The story is enjoyable and the reader does a fine job with the characters, despite the lack of depth.
Still, it shows the development of Granny Weatherwax when compared to later novels and it is worth the listen.

Just a little Insight

This book is not as good at The Tipping Point anad seems rushed, especially in comparison. There is a small amount of research discussed, some generalizations and nothing I found very profound. There was just a little bit of insight. Yes, we all make instant decisions - how can we make better ones? The book doesn't give much insight into that and so I was not impressed.
