Relieved and delighted to see DI Barton Series continue

Perfect combination of suspense, humor and especially relationships between each character, qualities that seemed lacking in Romero Beach series. I hope this isn't the last.

I liked this series. Well developed the characters and vivid action. dialogue was a bit repetitive and I would fast forward at times. I do recommend listening to this wonderful narrator who made the characters distinctive. all in all a good listen.

Sabrina York writes wonderful characters and Ryan Morgan's narration. brought them to life.

This brilliant writer created a fascinating world and paired it with the perfect narrator. so vivid ad enchanting with just enough mystery and suspense. I'll be looking reading her other series after this.

Very Disappointed

I was so hoping for a continuation of D.I. Barton or an offshoot starring his partner. I was so invested that I grieved the end of series.

I would have returned this book but kept hoping and resorted to increasing it's speed. Highlight was the night at the pub and subsequent soccer game. The rest was repetitive and drab. By the end I was confused and didn't care who did it. May try next in series only if available on Audible Plus.

I was grieving after bingeing on the DI Barton series and was hoping his next book would be a continuation featuring his colleagues and family.

The story surrounding the uninteresting and unlikable characters in this book was irritating and I stopped listening. The marvelous narrator, David Thorpe, couldn't save this book for me. maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance anday try again in future. I do like this writer and will continue to explore his earlier books.

D.I. Barton - I'm a Fan!

I am hooked on this series and want more of D.I. Barton, his family his colleagues. David Thorpe's narration brings the characters to life and I'm in mourning now that I've finished to the series. I hope that Ross Greenwood brings us more D.I. Barton. I've become very attached.

this book is a great listen! great story and Patrick Zeller's versatility as narrator was perfection. my only complaint is it should have been a longer story. Skipped too many steps in the evolution of their relationships.

I was engrossed in the story, although somewhat repetitive. Female narrator was very competent but wrong choice for this character. No sex appeal for a very sexy story.
