Historia
Dalinar Kholin challenged the evil god Odium to a contest of champions with the future of Roshar on the line. The Knights Radiant have only ten days to prepare—and the sudden ascension of the crafty and ruthless Taravangian to take Odium’s place has thrown everything into disarray. Desperate fighting continues simultaneously worldwide—Adolin in Azir, Sigzil and Venli at the Shattered Plains, and Jasnah in Thaylenah. The former assassin, Szeth, must cleanse his homeland of Shinovar from the dark influence of the Unmade.

Must have had AI write this for him.
Revisado: 01-23-25
Sandersons Wind and Truth was a disappointment on almost every level.
It felt "forced" and the agenda felt forced.
It didn't accurately represent the world of Roshar that we've been learning and exploring over the past 4 books.
Instead it felt like a new world entirely with different points of importance.
If LGBTQ was prevalent and in the forefront from the beginning, it wouldn't have been so underhanded and forced feeling.
The entire book felt like a merry go round of endless "ooo waa, my emotions!!" From different POV's.
The same points and and lessons were being expressed by every single character and every POV.
The stories of each individual that we've come to learn about and love, all melded together into the exact same thing, making no one feel unique and the differences created between them in the past 4 books feel meaningless.
In the end everyone became the same "! feel bad? I'm overcoming my bad feelings, and I'm learning to care about others feelings. Cause feelings are important. And feelings. And feelings. Oh!
And did I mention feelings...?"
That became the entire book.
The reason Adolin became the STAR of the book, was because he stayed grounded, real, and himself? He didn't fall into the homogeneous pile of yuck that became literally every other character.
He stayed himself. He had heroic moments to root for, struggles to feel with, and an exciting story that felt grounded, gritty, and real.
In the end, Sanderson failed with this book.

The quickness of the story it moves along at a good pace.

It does a good job staying with the main character. The other characters are good in their own way. But the book stays with the characters developed. I like that. There is potential for other books with the other characters and there story as well.

Historia
This is the story of Michael Talbot, his family, and his friends: a band of ordinary people trying to get by in extraordinary times. When disaster strikes, Mike, a self-proclaimed survivalist, does his best to ensure the safety and security of those he cares for. Book One of the Zombie Fallout Trilogy follows our lead character at his self-deprecating, sarcastic best. What he encounters along the way leads him down a long dark road, always skirting the edge of insanity.

I prefer using less foul language and appreciate the narrator's excellent delivery. The humor in "Zombie Fallout" is entertaining, and I'm eager to discover how the story unfolds.

Welcome to Correct Opinions -- the first show where every opinion is correct (in my opinion.) If you're just as annoyed as I am with the over-the-topness of today's social media crazed world then you're in the right place. Whether I’m riffing on trending topics, my experiences, your college roommates "small business" (we know you haven't sold a single t-shirt, Jason) or recurring segments such as "Another Dumb White Baby Name," I speak for us all on why people need to just do less. Let's take a deep breath, make fun of some people and enjoy some remedy through roasting. In a growing world of...
