Historia
Throughout her childhood, Elizabeth Koehler-Pentacoff frequently visited Rosemary Kennedy, President John F. Kennedy's sister. Why? Koehler-Pentacoff's aunt, Sister Paulus Koehler, a Franciscan nun, was Rosemary's devoted caregiver at St. Coletta in Jefferson, Wisconsin, for 15 years and her driver and travel companion for over 30.

Not really about Rosemary, but about the nun and her family.

Didn’t enjoy narrator.
Revisado: 07-29-24
I didn’t enjoy the narration. In the narrator’s defense, the writing made interesting narration difficult. The book’s topic had so much potential, but the jumping from the author’s family to Rosemary Kennedy made the story disjointed.

Inconsistent, not believeable, characters
Revisado: 04-20-24
The plot idea had promise. But the characters’ personalities were forced and honestly, ridiculous. What high profile attorney flips off a deputy sheriff? Also, the author randomly inserted raunchy sexual content and the F word. It seemed like a desperate move to engage readers. Fans of Lisa Jewell and other solid writers will end up disappointed. In short, good plot; poor execution.

One sided and poorly developed.
Revisado: 04-01-24
Story jumps all over, difficult to follow. Main story not developed. Gives a one sided opinion of immigration.

Disappointing
Revisado: 06-27-23
I enjoy Ruth Ware’s books. This is an exception. Not good. Too many F bombs and the narrator holds the u every time. Weak plot with lots of holes. But my main complaint, the main character is annoying and inconsistent.

Not amazing
Revisado: 01-10-22
I typically love Reece Witherspoon suggestions. This is my only exception. The narrator didn’t seem believable as Lucky and the store line was a bit ridiculous.

Immature writing
Revisado: 06-28-21
Overall plot is good. The character development and story line sound like they were written by a middle school student. Story includes unrealistic and absurd details, artificial drama. I don’t recommend.
