Historia
It was the summer of 1959 when the Roberts family decided to take their first vacation in five years. When they reached West Yellowstone, Montana, a fateful decision was made to continue on until they arrived at the majestic Madison Canyon below the Hebgen Lake Dam. A rustic cabin was rented in a peaceful and serene location along the Madison River. They went to bed dreaming of catching rainbow trout, hiking mountain trails and observing wildlife. At 11:37 pm, their dreams turned into night terrors when they were jolted awake by a 7.5 earthquake!

Unimaginable
Revisado: 01-30-24
We visited Quake Lake a few years ago. I felt so many different emotions that day. It is such an eerie feeling when you see the dead trees rising above the water,a haunting feeling knowing there were people buried alive underneath that lake and yet a feeling of respect for those who died. Such a horrific experience this family went through. Thank you for sharing your story and for the earthquake advice at the end. We live in Utah. Knowing the Wasatch front is a major fault line is very unnerving. A reminder of necessity’s is greatly appreciated.

Historia
Molly Baker is living her best life. Thirty-eight years old, she lives on the 25-acre Hope Farm in Buckinghamshire, surrounded by (mostly) four-legged friends and rolling hills. An ex-teacher, Molly runs the farm as an alternative education for kids who have special needs or behavioural issues. It's full on, but she wouldn't have it any other way. So when the well-groomed Shelby Dacre turns up at Hope Farm asking to enrol his son Lucas, Molly isn't fazed. But Lucas is distant, and soon Molly realises he might be more of a handful than she anticipated.

Narrator sounded like she was eating candy and loudly swallowing. It was very annoying. Almost quite listening because of it.

Great book

I thought the narrator did a fantastic job with the accents. I was also happy with the fact that the book did not have the f bomb every other word and the sexual nature was just enough to be intriguing but not over the top.

While Josephine was trotting the globe, retired boxer Jake Spear was living in the same small town as Lydia.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
No, it was a good story but I don't see the need for the f bomb to be used non-stop. I'm not a prude, but show a little intelligence. Is there no other words that could have been used?
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
It was good. She's pretty high and mighty but that was the point of the story.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
No

Would you try another book from Bentley Little and/or Ramiz Monsef?
No, not from this author.
Would you ever listen to anything by Bentley Little again?
Yes
Any additional comments?
I do not like books that are over the top far fetched. This one was in no way believable and the ending really didn't answer any questions.
