I Love Holly - so disappointed in the politics

Holly has been a wonderful character for years now... and i was very excited to pick up this next installment of her story. However, the amount of political grandstanding made me sick to my stomach. The only reason i finished the book was because of Holly herself; the soapbox nearly ruined what could have been an exciting story.

Lastly... The narrator, though they did a fine job on the majority of the story, did not understand the voice of Holly that we have all have loved. Missed the mark and made her feel like someone completely different than who we know her to be.

Couldn’t get enough

Another great chapter in the Joe Goldberg saga.
The story is fun... and there are all sorts of twists and turns, but the best part... is the way the book is written.

I couldn’t put it down and Santino Fontana is a masterful narrator.

This Florida guy can’t wait for the next chapter.

I found and fell in love with CK's characters in her last two books, and if i am completely honest I was a bit disappointed to hear that this book had nothing to do with anything or anyone of her last two books.

But I am so glad that I was so wrong about my early disappointment.

I 100% could not put this book down, and not only was this story heart gripping and tragically hopeful; each of the narrators did an award winning performance.

I can't wait to see what adventure that CK takes us on next.

Epic Calvin

I have been a Huge fan of Calvin's for the last 2 or 3 years, but this is my first of his in Audio form... let me just say that not only is this story breath taking... but the narrator does a fantastic job.

A hidden gem in this, is the interview with Calvin at the beginning of the download... being that he just recently passed away... this is a timeless peek into the heart of the artist.

A crazy train of a ride

So i have been waiting for Flynn to release a new book for quite some time now, and this was anything but a disappointment. The Characters were literally insane, the story kept you guessing, and the outcome is still a bit creepy.

Of course you have tons of mature language and pretty graphic scenes, typical in all of Flynn's works, but it was masterfully written.

The Performance is one of my favorites, extremely well narrated.

A Multiple Must Listen

This is one of those books, that every-time i listen to it... it hits me in a whole new way. I love that John narrates his own books... for me, it gives me the personality behind his words.

I give this my highest recommendation.

Idea was way cooler than the actual story

I am fascinated with Angels, the Nephilum, and all sorts of pseudo-apocryphal texts... and it is clear so is the author. You can tell she has done her homework and is in love with the subject... however the story was slow, not very exciting... and at most times weak.

The Narrator seemed to lack a rhythm to her words that could keep me interested.

I finished the book out of principal... but couldn't tell you how it ended or what happened.
