I read a horrible review as it was the only one listed. The person reviewing it said this book was sexist and had misinformation about the medical field, and if I actually took the review to heart I wouldn't have listened to this book. I would have missed out on a great story. I'm a veterinary technician and I read books that have veterinary references and they're wrong but what do I do? I just ignore it I don't get mad and I don't leave a horrible review about it. Just because the author's researched was misleading doesn't mean you write a horrible review about it. This book is not sexist! Yes the main character is a physician and the leading lady is a nurse there is nothing sexist!! This is character building in the story. It does not focus on it at all. This book had me laughing this book had me crying this book had it all!! I recommend that you should listen to this book!! If I could give it 10 Stars I would but that's not an option so yes five stars this book was great I have never listened/read this author before and now I'm hooked! I know everyone has their own opinion. Just listen and make your own!

I read a lot of reviews before buying this book. The ones where people said the movie is better obviously don't like character building. The movie is great but this book fills in any holes the movie has. As far as the bad reviews about Sebastian York only being in the first 2 chapters. Well that makes sense as they are from his prospective. The rest of the book is Laura 's. The narrator did a great job! I would recommend this book to anyone that likes this kind of trope. It is not for everyone.

I have never read or listened to this author before. I am now hooked. This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster. I normally don't get it when people say that a book made them cry. This story is just so good. I didn't know how it was going to end which is awesome. For me I usually can figure out the plot and just wait for it to happen. This story threw out what I thought was going to happen and twisted it around. I recommend this book to everyone and anyone! Thank you for the wonderful story!
