Historia
In the summer of 1934, “a sickly, pathetic marmoset” called Mitz came into the care of Leonard Woolf. He nursed her back to health and from then on was rarely seen without her on his shoulder. A ubiquitous presence in Bloomsbury society, Mitz moved with Leonard and Virginia Woolf and their circle, developing special relationships with such associates as T. S. Eliot and Vita Sackville-West. She accompanied the Woolfs on their travels and even played an important role in helping them to escape a close call with Nazis in Germany.

Unusual story about acceptance
Revisado: 06-19-21
An unusual story of being different and acceptance. Many times we go thru life seeing the world thru our own eyes instead of how life really is for others. I enjoyed the characters and understood the message!

sIt is such an interesting story and characters. Enids voice was annoying at first, but then became endearing. I did laugh out loud and was amazed at the gumption and how it was encouraged and passed on!!

Historia
The Spanish House is a mixture of designs, Georgian, Gothic and Moorish, as if whoever started it had simply got bored. It has long been known as an architectural folly to locals, and is now nearly derelict to boot. When its reclusive owner dies intestate, the Spanish House is left to his city-dwelling niece. For Isabel, recently widowed, the house is a potential lifeline - the only hope she has of providing for her two children without having to sell her most treasured possession.
