Historia
It seems like the best place to start is to introduce what we mean when we talk about Forest Educators. In the inaugural episode of The Forest Educator Podcast, I explore the different layers and angles involved in forest education and the types of conversations we are going to have on this podcast. If you have suggestions of other types of people (or specific people!) we should be having conversations with on this podcast, make sure to send me a message and let me know. I love to hear from you! Such a needed resource
Revisado: 07-01-23
When you bring children into direct experiential contact with the natural world, through guided, hands-on interactions with the vibrant life found in fields and forests, you foster empathy and compassion for all living creatures. This forms the foundation for building respect and a sense of responsibility to protect and nurture the environment. This is where commitment to local, regional and global environmental protection and regeneration begins: with our children.
However, we are never too old to expand our own understanding, awe, delight and fascination with the myriad of creatures in and on the land, air, and water of our planet.

Historia
Deep is a voyage from the ocean's surface to its darkest trenches, the most mysterious places on Earth. Fascinated by the sport of freediving - in which competitors descend to great depths on a single breath - James Nestor embeds with a gang of oceangoing extreme athletes and renegade researchers. He finds whales that communicate with other whales hundreds of miles away, sharks that swim in unerringly straight lines through pitch-black waters, and other strange phenomena.

Revisado: 01-30-23
I like everything that I have listened to, or read by James Nestor. He speaks clearly with a strong slow cadence. The content of his book , as with the content of his others, is thought-provoking , at times riveting, and well worth the investment of the listener’s time

A rare gem
Revisado: 02-13-17
So many books these days have a flash-in-the-pan appeal and utilize a formula sensationalism. In 'TheSeal' Adriana brings the fruits of a lifetime of deep inner work and spiritual comsciousness to a story that is far more than just a tale. It's truths go deep and wide within the listener's soul. The narrator is ideal for this exceptional work.
