Guilty as Sin
Revisado: 11-20-15
What made the experience of listening to Deadly Lessons the most enjoyable?
I felt it was very well written.
What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?
She was able to manipulate Billy Flynn into killing her husband; I totally believe that. And I find it hilarious that she was "trying to help the police" find the killer. Yes, Billy and his cohorts deserved to go the prison for what they did but she did too. And her trying to say she was innocent is just pure malarkey.
What does James Conlan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He's a good narrator but it would have been the same if I had read of the book.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Sure, if I had the time. But I listened to it commuting to work.
Any additional comments?
I highly recommend this book if one is a true crime fan like I am.

Wonderful Book!!
Revisado: 11-20-15
What did you love best about Troublemaker?
Leah takes you inside her life first and foremost, and how she was part of the Church of Scientology and what led her to leave it.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Troublemaker?
Tom Cruise and Katy Holmes wedding...what a scream! That moment shows you how Tom was the king.
Which character – as performed by Leah Remini – was your favorite?
Leah herself. She's so thoughtful in her writing. She explains how she became a part of Scientology, and how it influenced her in many ways and also tells you how she saw right through the church.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
My commute to work is long so I would listen to it in the car. I finished it in three trips. Couldn't wait for the next chapter.
Any additional comments?
Since Leah narrated her book, you can feel her happiness, sadness and anger. Unlike other narrators who just "read it", you felt like you were right there with during her life's ups and downs.

Historia
On June 9, 2008, the butchered body of Travis Alexander was found in his Mesa, Arizona, home. The grisly nature of his death made instant headlines: With 29 knife wounds, his throat slit, and a gunshot to the head, Travis was left to die. The prime suspect in the case was Alexander's ex-girlfriend, the attractive and soft-spoken Jodi Arias. Though Arias initially said that she was nowhere near the scene of crime, little about this case was as it seemed, and before long she had been caught lying to police. As the investigation progressed, her lies evolved multiple times before finally resting on an appalling claim: She had killed Travis in self-defense.

Historia
In this brave and moving memoir, Corey Feldman is revealing the truth about what his life was like behind the scenes: His is a past that included physical, drug, and sexual abuse, a dysfunctional family from which he was emancipated at age fifteen, three high-profile arrests for drug possession, a nine-month stint in rehab, and a long, slow crawl back to the top of the box office.

Excellent!
Revisado: 11-14-13
What made the experience of listening to Coreyography the most enjoyable?
It was coming from Corey, and that made the book very easy to listen to. You can hear the joy, reluctance, revulsion and pain in his voice.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Of course, it was Corey Feldman.
Have you listened to any of Corey Feldman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, this is my first Audible review.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I started to listen to the book on a Thursday and finished by Saturday evening. I even listened to it at work which I don't normally do.
Any additional comments?
It's a very heart-felt book. Sometimes, we think of former child actors and roll our eyes. We don't see the inner circle. He made it clear that what was done to him was not his fault, and it wasn't. He was a child with no parental supervision. Sure, he made his own choices at times but there was no adult to give him an alternative. You can tell that he wanted to make changes in his life but with the inner circle he had around him, it was very difficult. He's a very strong person. Kudos to turning his life around.
