Historia
In this revised and expanded edition of Richard Dolan's previous classic on the UFO subject, he brings the listener through the tumultuous journey of the UFO/UAP subject through the early 2020s. This includes a detailed treatment of the changes to our public discussion of UFOs since 2017 and what is the likely end point of this new direction. But Dolan provides much more than this, including providing critical context of the UFO subject within the broader social, political, and technological developments of our world, something that makes him unique among UFO researchers.

A real pleasure to hear unbiased information
Revisado: 02-20-24
This book truly was a pleasure to listen to, as Mr. Dolan presented facts as facts, and opinions as opinions. He really went out of his way to remain unbiased and realistic. THANK YOU!

At the end of World War II, U.S. intelligence agents confiscated thousands of Nazi documents on what was known as the “Fischer-Tropsch Process” - a series of equations developed by German chemists unlocking the secrets of how oil is formed. When the Nazis took power, Germany had resolved to develop enough synthetic oil to wage war successfully, even without abundant national oil reserves.

Story is great. Started out great. Eventually seemed to drag on a bit, meaning a bit too much "color" and ran out of substance.

Historia
The stuff of conspiracy theories makes for great, entertaining stories in movies, books, and television. And there is no shortage of subjects: from who really killed JFK to the truth behind 9/11. And then, there are subjects from alien invasions to the Moon landing was simulated - theories that are truly out of this world, which according to some, is flat. Many of these crazy concepts have jumped off the pages or screens to become so pervasive in our culture that thousands - even millions - subscribe to them as reality.

I really liked this and learned a lot. Not exactly what I was expecting, although that's kind of the point of this book.

Not at all what I was expecting.
Revisado: 02-20-23
Not at all what I was expecting. I was expecting it to be considerably more technical, and for it to be basically ALL about "Hackers" with regard to Cyber / Technology / Computers / Internet / etc. No question that THIS book is not for me, however, it may be perfect for others. I respect both the author and the performer. Thank you.

Historia
The Aztec UFO Incident - the first ever widely publicized report of a recovered flying saucer - was derided as a hoax for decades. But now the Ramseys and Frank Thayer reveal the exact spot where the craft landed and show how the 100-foot-diameter saucer was moved to a secret laboratory. Witnesses to the incident who were interviewed by the authors affirm that they were sworn to secrecy by the military. The authors also reveal the names of scientists who worked on the craft after its recovery.

Great story. Terrible writing style.
Revisado: 06-01-21
This story is really great. Unfortunately the author apparently likes having his own first name appear in his book several hundred times. It truly became repulsive, hearing “(Scott)” after every “I” or “me”, throughout the entire book. In the end, I still believe the story (and the authors’ research) are worthwhile, however, I would never consider reading nor listening to another book by this author / these authors.

Historia
Uncovering compelling new evidence, Egyptologist Robert Bauval and astrophysicist Thomas Brophy present the anthropological, climatological, archaeological, geological, and genetic research supporting a hugely debated theory of the Black African origin of Egyptian civilization. Building upon extensive studies from the past four decades and their own archaeoastronomical and hieroglyphic research, the authors show how the early Black culture known as the Cattle People not only domesticated cattle but were also an advanced civilization.

Extremely repetitive
Revisado: 05-18-21
Listening to this book was continually more frustrating with each chapter as there is an over abundance of repetition of facts…..especially technical facts. I’m happy to have learned a lot from this book, and have great respect for the authors’ knowledge and experience on the subject, however, listening to this book was painful.

On July 16, 1965, a massive alien spacecraft from the Zeta Reticuli star system landed at the Nevada test site north of Las Vegas. Following a plan set in motion by President Kennedy in 1962, the alien visitors known as the Ebens welcomed 12 astronaut-trained military personnel aboard their craft for the 10-month journey to their home planet, Serpo, 39 light-years away. Working with the DIA originators of the Serpo project and the diary kept by the expedition’s commanding officer, Len Kasten chronicles the complete journey of these cosmic pioneers.

Really frustrating
Revisado: 01-24-20
This book was extremely frustrating to listen to. There were many contradictions between different parts of the same story, certainly taking away from the likelihood that it’s really true. Also, it really bothers me that the narrator repeatedly said “quote unquote” many hundreds of times. It’s improper, and she should know that!

Revisado: 06-13-19
I’m truly happy to have listened to this book, as I am with all of Graham Hancock’s books. The information provided is beyond amazing. Still, I must say that some parts of the book seemed to drag on a bit, so I really wish it was a bit shorter in total.

Absolutely Most Valuable Book Ever !
Revisado: 03-08-18
Having heard an interview with Johann on the radio a couple weeks ago, I thought this book sounded interesting, although I was still a bit skeptical. I had never heard of him, nor of this book, nor of the premise that it presents before then. Once I started listening to the book, it was almost immediately apparent that this is going to have a huge positive effect on my life. Having completed listening to it (once, so far), I feel even stronger that this may very well be THE THING that truly is the beginning of this HUGE POSITIVE CHANGE for me. I have now purchased both the audiobook and the Kindle book, as I’m sure I will want to be able to refer back to specific points. I have already recommended this book to several friends and relatives, and will continue to do so. It’s absolutely amazing! Thank you Johann for having the courage to spend so much time and energy researching and presenting all of this to the rest of us.
