While there are a lot of books on the Christian life, they are mostly topical and it's easy to put your sword down and grow nonchalant or worse, backslide due to stress, worldly pursuits, and persecution and in the end fall away because of these vices. (Parable of the seed falling on various soil). However, this comprehensive yet compact book manages to prepare and equip the believer on what to expect (attacks, persecutions) and how to endure, be victorious and remain standing, repeat. These insights came about from memorizing books, not verses of the Bible, fasting and seeking the Messhiah Jesus, Holy Spirit, and Abba intently. The saying 'nothing good comes easy' comes to mind and fasting regularly and memorizing books of Scripture is certainly not easy by any means... How many ppl do you know have done so ? Exactly, so expect vast insight from the Throne of Grace, itself and also expect a Gem of a book. GBUA (G-d Bless U All).
