Historia
Detective Josie Quinn is horrified when she’s called to the house of a mother who had her newborn baby snatched from her arms. A woman caught fleeing the scene is Josie’s only lead, but when questioned it seems this mysterious girl doesn’t know who she is, where she’s from, or why she is so terrified.... Is she a witness, a suspect, or the next victim? As Josie digs deeper, a letter about a mix-up at a fertility clinic links the nameless girl and the missing child to a spate of killings across the county.

The Narrator Ruins The Book
Revisado: 06-04-22
The story is good. The Narrator mispronounced MANY words. Why would such a good author allow such a terrible narration to harm her book so badly.

Historia
When Jenny inherits her estranged grandmother’s cottage in Sherwood Forest, she has nothing to lose - no money, no job, no friends, no family to speak of, and zero self-respect. Things can only get better.... Her grumpy but decidedly handsome new neighbour, Mack, has a habit of bestowing unsolicited good deeds on her. And when Jenny is welcomed into a rather unusual book club, life seems to finally be getting more interesting. Instead of reading, the members pledge to complete individual challenges before Christmas.

Historia
When good girl Margo Connelly becomes Lamar "Striker" Jennings's latest assignment, she knows she's in trouble. And not just because he's been hired to protect her from an underworld criminal. The reformed bad boy's appeal is breaching all her defenses, and as the threats against her increase, Margo isn't sure which is more dangerous: the gangster targeting her, or the far-too-alluring protector tempting her to let loose.

Why the great reviews???
Revisado: 09-08-20
The story line is good but is only about an hour long. The rest is sex.. having sex or thinking about sex. Like people who have a little coffee with their creamer. Don’t waste your money. The narrator was decent.

Terrible editing
Revisado: 06-08-20
The story was good. The narrator was good. I have been an audible customer for years and have not listened to a book this poorly put together. Most mistakes are in the first fifteen chapters. A couple of places there are beeps, and the narrator starts over. At one spot she sighs, that should have been edited out. There are several sentence repeats. In chapters nine and ten there are conversations of a different scene inserted in a in a conversation; then it goes back to the original scene. Very confusing ! This needs to be fixed.

Historia
Holden Scott is the prince of professional football. At least he was before he lost it all...or, more to the point, before he threw it all away. Now he's out of a job, out of the public's good graces, and perhaps just a little out of his mind. So when a friend offers up his remote lodge in the wilds of Colorado, giving Holden some time away to get his life back on track, he can hardly say no. The last thing he expects is to see a beautiful girl in the woods - one wearing a white lace dress who appears in the moonlight and leaves no footprints behind.

Animal abuse
Revisado: 01-13-19
The story was good , but I almost didn’t listen due to animal abuse. I skipped forward quite a bit. There were dog fighting rings....so unnecessary for a good story .
