Historia
Maddie McLendon hasn't had a new relationship since the loss of her beloved husband two years ago. Broken by grief and desperate for a new start, Maddie moves to Bitterroot Valley, Montana with her adult son and her grandson. But despite the natural beauty of her new town, not every change in her life is a welcome one. Maddie's new next-door neighbor, Sam Conacher, used to be a pillar of the community, but he has driven old friends and new acquaintances away due to a recent heartbreak of his own. He seems to intrude on her life at every turn.

Turned out very interest and exciting!
Revisado: 11-13-17
At the beginning of the book I thought that it was going to be just another typical/predictable love story. But it turned out to be very exciting and I found myself wanting to read it more and more.

Just before Christmas, Nikki Thomas lost her childhood friend, Katherine, when they were 10 years old. The case rocked the neighborhood of Willow Creek in 1988. Reader is too stiff
Revisado: 09-02-17
I can't even get through the first chapter, the lady reading sounds like she is reading a book to children- she does not portray the voice of the story because she is so stiff and maintains the same overexcited/nervous voice for every sentence.

Historia
Charlie Gordon knows that he isn't very bright. At 32, he mops floors in a bakery and earns just enough to get by. Three evenings a week, he studies at a center for mentally challenged adults. But all of this is about to change for Charlie. As part of a daring experiment, doctors are going to perform surgery on Charlie's brain. They hope the operation and special medication will increase his intelligence, just as it has for the laboratory mouse, Algernon.

Great Story, Great Narration!
Revisado: 06-22-12
This was a story that was original (I get sick of reading the same old mystery and the same old love story). The characters and story were very devoloped very well. Both interesting and moving.
