Historia
The human heart was created with a great capacity to love. But along with that comes a great capacity to feel pain. There is no denying that those who love us, who are closest to us, can wound us the most profoundly. That kind of pain can be difficult, if not impossible, to overcome. And it can feel even more impossible to continue loving in the face of it. Yet that is exactly what we are called to do. Sharing his own story of pain, pastor and best-selling author Jentezen Franklin shows us how to find the strength, courage, and motivation to set aside the hurt, see others as God sees them, and reach out in love.

Hits to the core

One of the things I enjoy so much about Jentezen's books is that he explains his personal life situation and struggles that are real. I can relate to the things he shares and it shows he practices what he preaches.

Historia
Mitch Kruse learned the hard way that going to church three times a week while growing up did not answer the question: Have you ever thought about changing the scorecard of your life from money to wisdom? His pursuit to find the answer sparked a lifelong journey through the ultimate wisdom book, Proverbs, one that connects God's heart with street smarts.

This is a rare opportunity
Revisado: 08-07-17
It's a rare opportunity to read or listen to a book with so many points I can identify with. Not only did Mitch study Proverbs but he's lived it and in full color. It's very rare that I read a person especially a pastor, as an open book. Mitch really opens himself up and discusses his short comings in a way that all can identify with. You will laugh and you will cry but most of all you will learn. What a refreshing read.
