With many audio resources provided by the Jonestown Institute, this work of journalism is one that will stay with me. From the haunting recordings of Jim Jones to the interviews with one of the few survivors, this is a work of journalism that may go under the radar but is most certainly worth your time.

Frankly the best of the best in terms of audiobooks

I could listen to Kevin Pierce read a grocery list. I had to actually turn down the speed from 1.1 down to 1 because I just wanted to hear Pierce’s cadence and his pronunciation.
Adding to this is frankly some of the best authorship I have ever read. True crime is better for having Jack Olsen put his pen to the paper.

Absolutely enthralling. Harold Schechter is truly a master of his craft. Having listened to Mindhunter and Helter Skelter recently as well, Schechter’s ability to weave a story without being self congratulatory is second to none.
