Not only was the story phenomenal but also the narrators did an amazing job bringing the story to life. Words cannot describe how amazing this book was! Everything about it was great: the plot, the intrigue, the suspense, the spicy scenes and all I wanted to do was route this couple alone from the sidelines!♥️ 100% would recommend.

Just wow!!!

This is my first book by JD Hollyfield and I cannot wait to go read her other books. I feel everyone in their 20s-30s should read this book because damn do I feel so heard and understood with this book. I think we all at some point in our lives have known what it is like to be the only single friend in a group. Suddenly you aren’t just going out to the bars with your friends and you don’t see them as often with kids and families and all the other things that come with that. But this books just wow, it wasn’t just the romance, it was the friendships, the bromances, just everything about this book was so special. Words cannot describe how much I loved this book. P.S. so glad a book finally had pickleball in it! 10/10 would recommend!

An Absolute Rollercoaster of emotions.

I FELT ALL THE FEELS!!! I was listening to this on my drive home and was crying me eyes out, but there were times were I was clapping and was just so giddy with this book. My favorite part of this whole duet is not the romance between the couples but rather the bromance between Weston and Conner. Talk about bestie goals who would do anything do each other and can’t help but route for both of them in their own ways. My only complaint would be I would want more of Conner’s POV, he was such a huge part of the story but got very little of his POV and wanted more. However there are some inconsistencies with the SCI and the facts with that but overall still an incredible read. And even with these things, it was still a 5⭐️ read for me!

Her writing style is a favorite of mine never coming right out to say what happened but letting the reader guess and times goes on you slowly put more pieces together like you are helping to create the story. Really amazing!

The emotion in their voices, I felt everything that they were trying to convey. 10/10 would recommend. I can’t express how amazing this book was but combined with these two narrators really bringing it to life was just next level.
