I was recommended this book by a friend’s book club and it just wasn’t for me. I liked Buddy and Ike’s bond. It would be really interesting for a while then I’d just lose interest. I did like how they were hunting for answers and wasn’t letting what happened to their sons be swept under the rug. The narrator was nice to listen to. I’d recommend it for folks who enjoy thrillers and mystery.

I liked the story but felt it was too much back and forth. One minute Duke is going to claim Shana then the next he’s going to do what’s best for her. I didn’t like how Shana couldn’t make up her mind with pursuing her dreams her loved ones had to force her hand. She seemed a little weak. Duke was very alpha male but he was annoying trying to do what’s “right” for Shana. I was kind of disappointed they didn’t get together for real until the very end. Overall it was an okay read and performance.

Natasha and Logan...a wolf and a bear. As soon as they meet they know that they are mates but Natasha kind of runs from Logan. Logan decided to give Natasha a little time to get used to it but she gets kidnapped and all bets are off. When he feels his mate’s fear he rushes to save her. They are so cute together I just loved them.
The audio on this book is much better than the first!

Bravo of the pack Maximus is in love with the alpha’s intended mate Gillian. Max resigned himself to watching the woman he loves love another man his alpha and his best friend Mateo. Gillian and Mateo knew they weren’t meant to be and when he found out that she was his best friend’s mate he was happy for them. It was a cute story. I thought Max and Gillian were so adorable. The audio sounded a little weird but the story was still good and I enjoyed listening!
