The Price is Right and Safety First!
Revisado: 04-29-24
This is a fun read with a lot of twists and turns throughout the book. This is an imaginative story with a lot of heart, sci-fi, and action. I enjoyed the variety of characters as they endured, died, and changed. I thought the actor did a great job voicing the characters and energizing the story. I cannot wait to complete the trilogy.

Great Story
Revisado: 05-24-23
Wow, this one takes some turns and twists as it works it way through the lives in the story and plot. A great job of wrapping up plots from previous books and yet building new ones in an interesting way. This was an enjoyable read and I couldn’t put it down.

A Great Story

What a great story of the Courtney’s with the backdrop of WWI and The Rand Rebellion. His use of language, imagery, and story structure makes him an exceptional writer and read. Honestly, I am sad it ended.

Marie-Laure lives with her father in Paris near the Museum of Natural History, where he works as the master of its thousands of locks. When she is six, Marie-Laure goes blind and her father builds a perfect miniature of their neighborhood so she can memorize it by touch and navigate her way home. When she is 12, the Nazis occupy Paris and father and daughter flee to the walled citadel of Saint-Malo, where Marie-Laure’s reclusive great-uncle lives in a tall house by the sea. With them they carry what might be the museum’s most valuable and dangerous jewel.

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

A heartfelt funny, tragic, and solid read.
Revisado: 12-01-22
What can I say, this book is Trevor Noah’s story and origin story. If you like Trevor Noah or don’t like Trevor Noah you will learn a lot from this book. I enjoyed his humor, anecdotes, and even his struggles and misunderstandings. Learning the personal experiences of the apartheids was very eye opening.

Historia
In keeping with the parable style, Patrick Lencioni begins by telling the fable of a woman who, as CEO of a struggling Silicon Valley firm, took control of a dysfunctional executive committee and helped its members succeed as a team. Story time over, Lencioni offers explicit instructions for overcoming the human behavioral tendencies that he says corrupt teams. Succinct yet sympathetic, this guide will be a boon for those struggling with the inherent difficulties of leading a group.

Good Outline
Revisado: 08-01-22
I like the concepts discussed in the book. I didn’t like the format of the story. The introduction to the story was a bit light, but a good introduction to the concepts prior to the story would have been helpful. Otherwise the narrator was good and conclusions were the best part.
