Don’t waste your time
Revisado: 04-19-23
This is the silliest book I have read in a long time. I cringe to think that real med school students are as immature and conniving as the characters in this book. The whole plot was ridiculous. I have read some of the other books this author has written that I have enjoyed, but this one was just plain awful!

Don’t waste your time or money

Dumbest most unbelievable plot I have ever come across! If I hadn’t been on a road trip with nothing else to listen to, I would have shut it down long before I did!

Predictable
Revisado: 11-20-21
The story held my interest and I listened to it in it’s entirety. In the early stages, it was somewhat confusing and seemed liked a conglomeration of sob plots. As the story began to unfold, it was pretty predictable…not much in the way of surprises. The performance by the reader was choppy, which became irritating at times.

Awful Narration
Revisado: 08-22-21
I read the reviews prior to ordering this book and chose to ignore the comments about the narration. That was a mistake! The voices of some of the characters were so grating it made my teeth hurt! The story was just okay but might have been more enjoyable had the performance might been so awful!

Very Entertaining
Revisado: 06-01-21
I loved this book. Like other reviewers have said, it’s very “Grisham like”. It moved along and held my attention and it was amusing in places as well. It won’t go down as one of the greatest novels ever written but if you are looking for an enjoyable read, this is it.

Hard to swallow
Revisado: 05-29-21
I enjoyed the first part of the story very much but as things progressed, there were just too many coincidences to swallow. The story line took a turn from the sublime to the ridiculous. Life is not that neat and tidy. I would cite examples but don’t want to ruin it for those who chose to listen.
