a good, jumping off point for those interested in the inner machinations of the Supreme Court

As a non-lawyer court watcher, who regularly listens to legal podcasts and reads other work related to the current supreme court, I believe that this book is a good primer for someone looking to delve into the basics of why the Supreme Court is behaving as it is and the increasingly conservative direction it has taken. There are certainly stories which I would have liked to see greater detail in, but understand the need to edit such information. The cadence and writing of the book itself, as well as the choice of narrator, made the information contained within, if not easier to accept, at least easier to digest. I would certainly recommend this to a novice court watcher.

Enjoyable, personal story of coming out and excepting one’s self

Sweet, poignant, sometimes gut, wrenching look at coming to grips with one’s own sexuality and obsession with pop culture. If you are looking for a deep dive into queer theory, this book is not for you, but jill’s voice provides an entertaining look into the experience of one millennial lesbian. To use my best, friends, favorite expression, I laughed, I cried, it was better than cats. Thank you for writing this.

A comfortable cozy read

I have absolutely fallen in love with Fred the vampire accountant. It has been a long time since I have read a book with a character who is so truly kind and engaging. Fred and his Klansman of the house of Fred have proved clever, wise, endearing and inventive. I read through the entire series in the space of a couple of days and look forward to the next installment.
