Sometimes what people do is not the best for the company, but sometimes it is best. But damaging the company on purpose and fighting everything others try to do to fix it is not a good management tactic, especially if it hurts others that are doing good.

What sticks out in Hockey? Energy!

Sports are controlled chaos, managed mayhem, timed terror, commercial coersion, and medical mysteries all caged together inside a barrier to keep the spectators, commentators, friends, family and a few true fans from interacting during the game.

Organizing and controlling the action are a few underpaid referees surrounded by the players on the field and in the bench. The owners, sponsors, and investors try to keep their players healthy enough to win, while the other teams does everything possible to make them loose.

But with hockey, it is all done on ice without the bottle of whiskey or can if beer. Just to stick it to the other guy for a few bucks and medical coverage.

Prince of Lies or Prints of Lies? Make him King!

Roe is an unusual young man from Nowhere Indiana, but definitely going places with his motivation to learn from his sister's death and fix the problems to save others from similar issues and failures to invest in medical communications to minimize the losses to other families.

Yet the best company to promote the solutions around the country to local governments is not open to the project that Roe is promoting, even though it has similar humanitarian projects and a supportive board of directors.

Just like any project with high dollar potential, the jealousy and greed of some can destroy any value for others if not managed right. Fortunately Roe is able to attract the attention and live of the right people and convince them that he is not greedy, but very self-sacrificing and loving. A perfect Angel with a Cupid moment that connects him to his mate.

Boys are so different and confused by love of life

Love is not fully agreeing or even always understanding. People are different, especially when young and learning in their adventure of being alive. The closer they become to someone, the more the differences stress their emotions and relationships while their similarities fade. All senses get stressed by confusing emotions and raging hormones, but often the path to love is as simple as a touch during a moment of closeness in the moonlight. Or in the rain. Even when danger changes everything. Change is always going to happen, but love can slip through the cracks to infiltrate hearts in magic ways to make life beautiful in so many ways. Yet it is the little things that are most important to memory and loyalty of life.

Perfect slice of life that feels real for YA

This was my third time listening to this small piece of chaos in a few families' lives that are known by many but understood by very few. All the problems of family life but with cameras rolling and relationships struggling. Plans quickly get changed and emotions get wrecked as stress, misunderstandings, and young love creep into daily life. It is amazing that Cal and Leon were able to build each other up to accept the challenges of young gay love while dealing with attention and acceptance. Most boys would find the normal bullying and and homophobia from friends, neighbors, and families overwhelming. Maybe the world of the future is going to be a better place. This book brings hope and love together in a current way that is just feel good.

But much closer to the moon and love

High school is a challenge for anyone associated with it. This includes faculty, staff, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, librarians, and custodial support. Even more so are the families of the students and most of all the students.

Minority students and disrupted and broken families, chronic sickness, physical handicaps, diseased siblings, lack of funds for spending, and just existing make survival more difficult. Lack of friends or support groups and family can make high school worse than jail or a mental institution.

For those who are different in any way, bullying is the main sport of the in crowd and the jocks. The worst possible option to deal with in school is being gay or uncertain. Trying to remain in the closet is almost impossible with all the interactions and situations in school with the bullies trying to out even those who are not gay, just to put people down to make the bullies think that they are better. Yet often some of the biggest bullies are gay and just trying to hide it to protect themselves.

This book carefully details some of the life events that affect Julio's life and present. When you add the past events, it makes the future look blurry and scary. But our hero discovers good friends, some supportive family members, and a boyfriend dealing with similar sexual orientation.

It is the mutual support and love that determines the future for both, not the fear and harassment of the past. This positive attitude will provide the motivation to achieve greatness in spite if difficulties and life situations.

This book is a very helpful guide for any young gay people who are trying to accomplish miracles, even if while in Catholic high school and speaking a different language.

Yet not everyone is satisfied and many want more. Some cannot afford it.
