K. F. Breene’s can sure show you what narcissistic behavior looks like. I wanted to climb into the book myself and knock heads together. And Jessie’s son? I feel sorry for him that he has to be in the middle of it all. If I were him, I would disown myself from my father and his family. Good for him wanting to go with his mom’s family and friends.

Loved it. Scary in a humorous way. It was laugh out loud funny with all the snark and sass but at the same time, I truly don’t want to go to hell.

Fast Paced

It was easy to follow and so dang interesting . Not like any other vampire story. There were times of humor, being scared, crying and just plain interesting. I listened and didn’t want to stop.

I just wish they would match up the model with the man the describe because the one on the cover does not have a beard. He’s a looker but not the character written. But at least the editing was good. Good book otherwise.

Somewhat Believable

If it weren’t for the fact that the story was written around “aliens”, I can see this….maybe. It’s still a good story. I like the fact that eventually her mate listened to her and the little girls played into that. And Grim started paying attention to what Lisa was saying has merit. The author didn’t have a lot of “sex” in it either. Still has sexy times but not explicit. I liked that. The character development was really good. The voice of Grim was okay but I think it could be better. The little girls were cute but they didn’t seem like “little” girls to me. They acted older but sounded younger. Still I liked it enough that I want to read Grim’s Holiday. Unfortunately I can’t read it through Kindle.

Scary man that believes he is better than others and if you don’t pay attention to him, he makes you or someone you care about pay. Other than that it was funny and shows how truly lucky she is. It also introduces another or two other main characters. Along with other supporting characters.

Way Too Breathy

The narrator was actually probably good. But the way the story was told??? no way do people act like they are out of breath when talking about a person of interest for two, three hours. It wasn’t realistic to me.

It was so funny and very heartwarming. I really liked the idea of them making love without it being graphic about it. It was romantic. This is the first book by Ms. Roberts I’ve read and I hope there are more like this.
