I like following the characters and the banter between them. There was one part I was hoping would turn out different but do not want to spoil for those who have not read book yet.

A great re-listen!
Revisado: 01-06-24
It had been years since I first read The Firm and it still ranks up there with my favorite novels of all time! I am a big John Grisham fan and love his work. The early novels were the best but now I'm looking forward to reading the newest which I understand is a follow up to The Firm.

One of Grisham's best plus Frank Muller!
Revisado: 01-06-24
Having been a Grisham fan since reading The Firm in the 1990s, I enjoy revisiting the back books and this was no exception. The narration by Frank Muller brought back strong memories as he was such an excellent narrator and I loved his voice!
This is one of Grisham's finest. Five stars plus!

Another disappointment
Revisado: 01-06-24
Having loved The Glassblower, I purchased books two and three. While the second book was disappointing, I had hoped for a return to the original storyline in book three but it was even worse! I did not enjoy this book at all. The original characters even had personality changes. They did a complete turnaround from the first book.
Sorry . . . another book that just is not for me!

This book was very disappointing.
Revisado: 01-06-24
I enjoyed the Glassblower so much that I bought the other two books. This one was interesting until about half way through and from that point on, Marie had a complete personality change plus the entire story line changed completely. I was then committed to follow up by reading book three and that review will be next.
Sorry, this book was not for me!

Revisado: 05-12-23
What a nice surprise! This book has been in my library a long time and I just read it a few days ago. It is such a good story! I had to go back and read the prologue and first chapter a second or third time to get the characters in right order but once on the right track, I listened non-stop to the end. What a great listen!! Thank you, Charles Martin and Adam Verner!
