Sorry Aleron, but this series missed the mark for me. 18 chapters in and I just can’t continue. It’s like watching 8 episodes of DBZ for a 35 min fight scene.

Slow start, but finished pretty well off.

Seems like the author was bored with the current story line at the beginning of the book and just hit a big reset. But to be fair, I think it was for the best because I was quickly losing interest.

I spent the first few chapters of the book adjusting to the new narrators. But overall, it was just meh, compared to the first book. Hard to finish.
