Historia
Librarian Sylvia Ashe knows nothing about her past, having grown up without a father and a mother who refused to discuss him. When she stumbles upon a diary that suggests she's descended from magicians, she's skeptical. After all, magicians are special, and she's just an ordinary woman who loves books. She seeks answers from a member of the most prominent family of magicians, but she quickly learns that finding the truth won't be easy, especially when he turns out to be as artless as her, and more compelling and dangerous than books.

Always the battles and things Aaron and her inn
Revisado: 03-14-25
This battle and off stories was much better than book 13. But I can’t give the book a full rating because of the foul language. I was hoping that when Tori came back that he and Aaron would be able to become friends so it’s sad to see that they are not and that they parted his enemies.

The section about Aaron and friends.
Revisado: 03-08-25
The war with all the beasts was not easy to follow. To many stories. A bit too vague and out in left field.
The importer, the five families, Aaron and the city connected through the magic door is so interesting. But a lot of the book and war was confusing to follow. And again the foul language is not needed. It ruins the story so stop. I wish I could recommend these books to my grandkids, but I can’t because of the stupid foul language.

The cunning maneuvers Aaron brings up. She is always so upbeat and fun to listen to what she’s going to do next
Revisado: 02-09-25
This book going from subject to subject blended a lot better than the last book. However, the language is still not needed. This book is so wonderful the language you don’t need to put that in to make the look good or for ratings it’s not worth it because it’s such a great story keep the language outand the reader amazing as always.

Way to much bad language
Revisado: 01-31-25
The story line of the group of Americans would have been better if all the horrible language was left out!
Also going from the storyline with “king” the change was not done well in this book. Chapter 12-15.
I would have rather have heard more of Aaron’s story, the emperor, Reokia (without bad language) Mersha becoming a mage & lionet, the main characters of liscore, the goblins and Toren. Writing in new characters and places is cool, but, other storylines from previous books are left hanging and not finished well. I can only give two stares because at least there was some good storylines from the main characters. And they did not use bad language.

Historia
Of course, if there were only one thing under Liscor, there would be far less to fear. However, the dungeon continues to be a threat. At the same time, Goblins continue to roam northern Izril, but not all of them are as hostile to people as Tremborag or the Goblin Lord. Will the Unseen Emperor of Riverfarm make that distinction, however? A reckoning is coming as old faces and new reemerge. And all the while, The Wandering Inn is still serving food and respite and even plays to adventurers and Antinium alike. But something is coming from the dungeons. And it—they—are hungry.

It's raining in Liscor. The spring rains have come and Liscor's entire geography changes with the dawning of the new year. The Floodplains of Liscor live up to their name, and the only way anyone is going to travel is by boat. With the rains come more monsters, dungeon delving, more goblins...not to mention some unwanted attention for the Wandering Inn.

I like the story line. It’s more fun to listen when Aaron does new things . I wasn’t crazy about the clown character so I was glad that character was not in this book.
