Dalinar Kholin challenged the evil god Odium to a contest of champions with the future of Roshar on the line. The Knights Radiant have only ten days to prepare—and the sudden ascension of the crafty and ruthless Taravangian to take Odium’s place has thrown everything into disarray. Lacking
Revisado: 12-20-24
This book was a complete mess, lacking substantial story line closure and/or continuation. Major characters come and go with no real purpose or cohesion. I’m not sure what to make of this book. I enjoyed the series up until now, it’s unfortunate to end the first half of a great series like this. Oh well. I think I’m done with Sanderson and his “Cosmere” obsession.

Historia
The Bible is the foundation of Christianity. In The Divine Inspiration of the Bible, Arthur Pink sets out to defend the belief that this holy book is, in fact, the true word of God. In doing so he examines the idea of divine inspiration and presents various arguments that aim to prove God Almighty is the author of the Bible. This book not only examines evidence for the trustworthiness of scripture and what belief in inspiration means but also helps Christians achieve a firmer understanding of the Bible's authority.

Historia
Arthur Walkington Pink was an English Christian evangelist and biblical scholar who was known for his staunchly Calvinist and Puritan-like teachings in an era dominated by opposing theological traditions. Pink was one of the most influential evangelical authors in the second half of the 20th century. Pink's beliefs and teachings were largely Calvinist- and Puritan-based. Pink clearly brings us a scriptural analysis of what to expect from the second coming of Christ in a truly thought provoking book.

Hard to listen to
Revisado: 12-03-22
The information is good, but the narrator sounds robotic, no enthusiasm with the subject being read. I’ve found myself drifting in thought because of how boring the narrator makes the book. It should be noted that I am a student of theology and minister, I don’t typically find books like this boring. Sadly, I’ve waisted a credit and will end up buying the book to read myself.

The first book was a good story, book two however, is even better! I have enjoyed every moment of this story, from the great voice acting of Peter Kenny and the stunningly heroic tale of a boy and his dragon! 10/10!

Worth it!

Absolutely worth the listen! The performance alone makes it worth spending the credit. The story is a great introduction to AoS, the only reason I don’t give it five stars, is because of the length.
