Great guidance that most parents will find helpful
Revisado: 07-28-24
Simple, straightforward thoughts about topics that many parents find hard to broach. Lighthearted scripts and starters to get you going and a positive air throughout the book leaves you feeling as though you can tackle any question that comes your way. For parents of very young who want to create a culture of openness in their home or for parents of tweens or teens who want to get on a better track and create a sense of safety and positivity around sex and sexuality for their young people.

Historia
The Work is simply four questions that, when applied to a specific problem, enable you to see what is troubling you in an entirely different light. As Katie says, "It's not the problem that causes our suffering; it's our thinking about the problem." Contrary to popular belief, trying to let go of a painful thought never works; instead, once we have done The Work, the thought lets go of us. At that point we can truly love what is, just as it is.

Horrible
Revisado: 12-12-21
This book is not just bad it's unhealthy and misleading. From transphobic anecdotes to derogatory language to making victims take responsibility for their own sexual abuse it just got worse with every section. Please do not read this.
