Second book by AB, this one has some great twists. AB seems to have a fair amount of knowledge of and insight into the intricacies of federal intelligence agencies and military operations.
This book was good to the end.

Dynamic Duo

Johnson and Guidall! Another great yarn with twists and turns. Johnson’s Humor, mystery, profundity and Guidall’s superb aural interpretation combine for 7+ hours of great entertainment.
After listening to several of the Duo’s efforts, I once watched an episode of the TV series and hardly recognized it as Walt Longmire, and never watched another.
The Duo is perfect!

Gratitude for our pioneer forefathers

David McCullough researched and wrote this account of a determined and dedicated men and women who, buoyed up by a strong belief in God, selflessly strove to settle the West of their day. It is on the shoulders of these resilient giants, descriptively characterized, that we stand today. Accounts of enabling American ingenuity and invention accompany the story of the individuals involved.
The book replete with examples of humility, faith, true social justice gives me hope that we will learn from the past to forge ahead with the same values and determination.

Too plausible

Excellent first novel kept me engaged with enough specifics. Berenson is better known for his expose of Covid misinformation.
The plot is all too believable similar to Chris Stewart’s “The Great and the Terrible “ 6 volume narrative of an EMP attack on America. I’ve wondered why the enemies of America haven’t followed the plots in these books.
I’m grateful for the dedicated folks who are engaged in difficult, dangerous and necessary activities to protect us.
Narration was excellent.

The power of prayer and faith and courage.

A timeless story of faith, resilience and strength of the human spirit to survive.
The narration was excellent, no straining to hear or understand.
Donn’s parents had taught him well and the scouting program helped him stop and think, the
first thing to do when lost. He remembered this teaching after some initial panic and did more smart things than unwise and never gave up hope.
There are lessons here for parents to teach their children today. It may not be on Katahdan, but the principles are universally applicable.

“You Are Worth It” is worth it!

Kyle’s experiences and narration provides an insight into the challenges and dangers that the majority of our military and police face daily, and their willingness to sacrifice for our country and local welfare. Maybe those who read this and who had previously denigrated the efforts of those who protect us have a change of heart and mind. Kyle helps us appreciate and honor their efforts.

Better the second time

I started listening to this book about 2 years ago and wasn’t in tune with the author. This time my understanding was opened. We are both Christians and his use of scriptures and love of Christ put so many of life’s challenges into proper perspective. I was grateful for his treatment of telling the truth and being very specific in conversation.

Craig Johnson brings life to Wyoming every time.
He turns a phrase well and has a great sense of humor.
Walt Longmire is bigger than life, we need more heroic models in our midst.
