I think this book was very important to listen to as it provides a lot of information on a topic I think everyone in the world should be familiar with. I was enlightened by how many easy ways I can contribute to transforming my home into a more eco-friendly environment. The author did an amazing job in providing examples and tips and tricks. I really enjoyed listening to all the fun and amazing ideas in this book.

Jud Low was 18 years old, from the East, and as green as could be when his father decided to pull up stakes and set them on the Oregon Trail. Not far from Abilene, Kansas, the two were put out of the wagon train after Jud’s father got into an argument with the wagon master. They headed south. Not long after, Jud found himself alone, his father having frozen to death during a cold winter night. He made his way south and stumbled onto a small cattle ranch, finding himself a job and a great friendship. When his new friend is murdered and robbed, Jud finds himself forced to become a man.

Brilliant plot

This book was very captivating and interesting to read and listen to. I love the plot of the story the most as it was filled with unexpected twists, turns, and surprises. What happened to Jud's dad and friend was very unexpected to me.
The narrator also did a good job in narrating the whole thing as I really enjoyed the tone of his voice because it set the mood for the rest of the book.

overall a very good listen

I enjoyed reading this book so I decided to try the audio version and I must say I enjoyed the audio version much better. This book was made for audio. I enjoyed listening to every chapter especially the fake friends' chapter. it opened my eyes and thoughts and I didn't expect it to do that, to be honest.
