Historia
In July 2004, Barack Obama electrified the Democratic National Convention with an address that spoke to Americans across the political spectrum. Now, in The Audacity of Hope, Senator Obama calls for a different brand of politics: a politics for those weary of bitter partisanship and alienated by the "endless clash of armies" we see in Congress and on the campaign trail; a politics rooted in the faith, inclusiveness, and nobility of spirit at the heart of "our improbable experiment in democracy".

New Deal and Great Society
Revisado: 06-23-08
If you want to know what kind of person (and president) Obama is and will be then you will have to sift though his numerous stories and innuendos and read between the lines. One part of this book rings very true. He talks about the Bush administrations repudiation and abandonment of Great Society, New Deal and Clinton era programs as a huge mistake and something he would immediately curb (if) he ran for president. So what does this tell you about him? Well for one, he admires three of the largest expanses in government and taxes in US history and openly admits that he will "fix" the damage done by Bush in respect to these past policies. The moment I saw that he was so dedicated to government expansion and typical tax and spend economics I realized that there is NOTHING special about this guy and his bi-partisan coming across the isle are (and will be) empty promises. His only goal is income redistribution to affect equality of results. So if you like these ideas then read (listen) to this book and vote for him. Otherwise don't vote or vote for his competitor - and keep the government out of our affairs.

Right on the Money
Revisado: 02-20-07
This book is very informative and quite graphic with some of it's descriptions on the horror that communism has unleashed upon humankind. It charts the rise of socialist ideals with Marx and Engles and goes through the communist and socialist movements of the twentiethh century all the way up to the present day.

Historia
Like it or not, Hillary Clinton is almost assuredly going to run for president in 2008. It doesn't matter that her negative poll numbers are high or that her past 15 years in the public eye have been anything but smooth. Since she was a little girl she has dreamed about becoming the first female president, and now that dream is well within reach.

Well done
Revisado: 06-26-05
This book seems to expose some of the behind the scenes interactions and truths that the Clintons so desperately try and conceal from the American public. It answers the question of what she actually stands for besides socialism and income re-distribution. Hopefully more people read this so voters can make an educated decision on whom to elect in 2008.
